We really want to thank Pappou and Yiayia for coming out to help with harvest and crush this year. Their extra hands were more helpful than can be imagined. Yiayia led the babysitting and cooking effort at home, sometimes from sunrise past sunset. We couldn’t have done it without her. Pappou was at the winery most days, even when we tried to convince him to take a break. On pressing day, he stood (without sitting) for almost 12 hours! I can barely do that. We can honestly say that Yiayia and Pappou had a hand in the Iota Cellars’ 2007 vintage. Two of our vineyard blocks bear their names, and this year’s wine will benefit from their touch. Thank you.
